FPGA Verification Engineer

Job Opportunity for FPGA Verification Engineer The Company Silvus is a fast-growing high-tech entrepreneurial company in the heart of West Los Angeles. The company delivers the most technologically advanced Mobile Ad-Hoc Networking (MANET) solution to multiple markets including Law Enforcement Unmanned Systems and Military, among others. Along with its successful MANET product line, the company also delivers on ground breaking research in the area of wireless data communications. The company has experienced rapid growth over the past 12 months and is expecting the rate of growth to continue with the introduction of new products and services. The Opportunity Silvus Technologies is seeking an FPGA Verification Engineer to engage in the development of new test infrastructure for a multitude of advanced wireless products, including its groundbreaking SC4400 and SC4200 radios. The role includes verification of FPGA implementations at both the RTL simulation and hardware levels. Technical Responsibilities Top-level test bench design and development for large-scale complicated systems Working with systems engineers to match test vectors between MATLAB and RTL simulations Continual integration of new features into existing test flow Debugging of hard to solve problems based on feedback from product performance in the field Working with the product team to continually update the verification process based on current needs Participation in hardware verification and troubleshooting Qualifications MSEE required, Ph.D in Electrical Engineering is a plus 2+ years of digital verification experience required Good knowledge of fixed-point design Proficient in System Verilog, VHDL, andor Verilog Experience with Xilinx FPGAs, SoCs and the Vivado IDE Experience with multi-clock domains, high-utilization designs Experience with GIT andor other revision tools is a plus Experience with Digital Signal Processing (DSP), wireless systems is a plus Experience with C, Matlab, andor Python is a plus Requirements Must be a U.S. Person (permanent resident or citizen) due to clients under U.S. government contracts Ability to pass a background check This opportunity is available in our Los Angeles office.
