Job Description

The  Analyst, FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) plays a crucial role in supporting intelligent, financially sound decision making across the organization.

The right person for this role is a systems thinker with a passion for developing and maintaining simple and sustainable business processes who enjoys translating data into insights efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Financial planning:

  • Prepares financial forecasts for revenues, expenses, balance sheet and cash flows
  • Builds, maintains and iterates financial forecasting models
  • Facilitates the financial planning process

Management reporting:

  • Builds, develops and continuously improves the management reporting suite for a range of stakeholders including owners, the Board of Directors, executives and other leaders, using the right tools in the right situations

Variance analysis:

  • Investigates, evaluates and communicates variances between actuals, forecast and plan

Planning systems:

  • Administers the Workday Adaptive Planning system used for forecasting and reporting processes
  • Identifies and implements system and process improvements to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of planning and reporting workflows

Partnership:

  • Engages with the CFO and other senior business leaders, contributing towards deployment of the Company strategy and achievement of enterprise objectives

External Reporting:

  • Collaborate with different departments to prepare financial reports for our external stakeholders

Skills & Requirements

Professional Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in an FP&A role or similar
  • Strong financial modeling skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience working with a relational database and/or a data warehouse
  • Experience with Adaptive Planning or similar EPM tools is a plus
  • Experience using SQL or similar languages is a plus
