Los Angeles office of our client seeks a first year attorney preferably with Lemon Law experience.
The candidate will conduct initial case assessment and investigations.
Will draft pleadings and motions.
Propound and respond to discovery.
Review, evaluate, and analyze pertinent documents.
Responsible for pre-trial preparation.
Meet all assigned calendar deadlines.
Negotiate settlements and make court appearances.
Take and defend depositions.
Conduct self-directed, in-depth, independent legal research.
Research and analyze all cases, statutes, and secondary material cited by parties.
Trial experience is a plus.
Must have CA State Bar admission in good standing.
The candidate must have exceptional computer skills with proficiency in MS Office, document management systems, and time record-keeping software.
Should preferably be able to work independently, as well as in a team setting, and begin supporting clients and other attorneys immediately and effectively.
Exceptional analytical, writing, and research skills are needed.
The ability to use time efficiently with minimal supervision is required.
The ability to interact and communicate with executives, attorneys, staff, and clients is essential.
