Fiber To The Home Installer:Alamon has opportunities for Fiber To The Home Installer with fiber-to-the-home experience in Elk Grove California.
The Fiber To The Home Installer will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of cabling in residential and commercial environments.
This includes termination and testing of low voltage/network cabling and fiber optic cables.
Wage starts at 22.00 per hour and goes up depending on experience.
We are also offering a sign-on bonus after 90 days of employment of $250.00.
Responsibilities of the Fiber To The Home Installer:The individual in this position will work with the other technicians to accomplish fiber to the home installation activities including:Climbing ladders, work in attics, crawl spaces in customers’ homesCapable of installing Cat 5E cables, modems, set-top boxes, routers, power supplies, etc.Respectful to customers and team membersWear appropriate safety equipment (PPE) and follow established safety proceduresKnowledge of telecommunications, fiber, CATV, and data cabling installation tasksUnderstanding and following company policiesQualifications:Must have General Computer skillsMust have a valid driver license with a clean MVRMust be able to pass a drug screen and a background checkMust be able to read and understand written and verbal instructions and work ordersMust be safety consciousPhysical Requirements:Work outside in all types of weatherMust be able to lift and carry an 80-pound ladder and meet ladder safety requirementsMust be able to work at heights of 3-25 ft.Must be able to bend, stand, sit, crawl, climb, and lift throughout each dayBenefits:Medical/Prescription PlanDental PlanPaid HolidaysVacationPersonal TimeEmployer-paid health insurance for each full-time employeeESOP company Employee Stock Ownership PlanAlamon, Inc.
