Job Description

Media.Monks is looking for an Executive Producer to lead a variety of our superstar integrated-focused projects in North America.

This position will partner closely with our growth monks to lead sales, while building growth strategies, and working with existing clients to understand how we can grow film. 

All About the Role

  • As an Executive Producer at Media.Monks, you’ll partner with the world’s leading brands to pitch, plot and produce an array of smart production content, along with pushing what’s possible with a strong focus on innovative technologies.
  • You’re a project’s pace and peacemaker, and principally responsible for its timely-and-terrific delivery.
  • You set up and pitch-for new projects by responding to briefs and RFPs, and together with our in-house teams, you help to shape these projects into a joint success.
  • Provide a creative voice in partnership with the creative team from the early stages of creative development through vendor recommendations 
  • Once a creative idea sells through, gather appropriate information and develop a pre-bid consisting of timeline, rough costs, and potential directors 
  • Prepare bid packages consisting of cover letter, AICP bid, and timeline
  • Enter AICP bids into Showbiz or HotBudget
  • Develop a plan for the entire production process across video/film and communicate it to all stakeholders
  • Provide account leadership while managing multiple projects from beginning to end
  • Developing executive level relationships 
  • Lead, manage, and develop a team of associate producers, producers, and senior producers providing them with clear responsibilities, goals, and career development
  • Oversee multi-million dollar client relationships and manage account growth, staffing, and client satisfaction
  • Manage account P&L by negotiating statements of work, ensuring work is delivered on budget and clients are invoiced correctly
  • Champion and contribute to Media.Monks culture of diversity and inclusion
  • Create and improve process for Media.Monks Hybrid model that can be immediately implemented
  • You are responsible for profit on a project per project base. 
  • Produce award-winning, innovative, and meaningful work
  • Your role is to bring all of our in-house talent together, integrating activities between different disciplines to make sure great work is done between Media.Monks monasteries around the world .
  • Next to projects, you manage our awesome producers on a project to project base.

    Overseeing the dept’s projects, proactively keeping fires out and steering the producer’s individual success.

  • You are responsible for scoping and quoting key projects as well as timing and planning production work.

    You help to establish what gets done and when (U <3 SOWs), making sure projects are profitable, doable, and award-winning.

  • If all of this doesn’t excite you enough already, you also have the honour of compiling reports on sales and forecasts.

Requirements

  • You have experience in producing Film and digital campaigns & content, programmatic, display, OOH, animation TVC and/or radio
    – basically everything 😉 
  • We are looking for a seasoned producer who can successfully work across teams, time zones and technologies.
  • You need to boast at least 5 years of high-level experience as a senior producer at a digital production company, with evident management skills.
  • You are experienced doing business with top clients, who will seek your take, expertise and leadership on the production of their ideas.
  • Leading the production of integrated projects between our international offices while managing a team of producers is no easy task and requires someone with excellent planning and communication skills, being experienced with management tools such as Asana, Salesforce, TeamGantt and Assembla.
