Job Summary:
To provide administrative and clerical support to the Vice President, Human Resources & the CIO.
- Provides administrative support to Vice President, Human Resources VP and CIO/VP of Support Services
- Maintains calendars, coordinates meetings and special functions
- Keeps all department information current.
- Takes minutes at assigned meetings; transcribes notes/minutes and makes them available in a timely manner
- Demonstrates the ability to order supplies, completes requisitions
- Puts together data from different sources for special projects and prepares reports.
- Performs secretarial duties, e.g., typing, correspondence, preparing reports, memorandum, etc.
- Answers the telephone in a professional manner; directs calls appropriately.
- Maintains department records, files, policy and procedure manuals, etc. for the assigned EMT member(s)
- Demonstrates the ability to schedule meetings between departments, directors/managers
Minimum Education:
- High School Diploma (or equivalent) required.
Preferred Education:
- Associates’ Degree.
Minimum Work Experience and Qualifications:
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Minimum two years of experience as an Executive or Administrative Assistant to executive team members, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
