Responsibilities
- Help coordinate the title policy with the title examiner
- Disburse escrow funds accurately and complete administrative tasks such as reporting
- Ensure all terms and conditions of the purchase agreement are being completed timely and accurately
- Work in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations when dealing with escrow transactions and escrow accounts
- Obtain, review, and clarify purchase agreements, contracts, title commitments, and lender instructions to ensure successful closing
Qualifications
- 5+ Years of being an Escrow Officer
- Solid knowledge of title insurance, regulatory guidelines, the escrow process, legal documents, and real estate property law
- Proactive approach
- Must possess proficiency in escrow/title software
- College degree or equivalent work experience preferred
- Understanding of mortgage loans, title commitments, title insurance, and real estate contracts
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
