Electrical Foreman

Summary
: The Electrical Foreman is responsible for managing the safety, labor, material, and production for electrical construction projects, repairing and installing electrical systems while maintaining compliance with national, state, and local electrical codes policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
:
The Foreman responsibilities require but are not limited to:
Maintaining a safe work environment Identifying prefabrication or prefab opportunities Planning, execution and installation of projects as assigned that meets all material and labor budgets Developing and reporting accurate labor forecasts, unit-tracking and job costing Ensuring the proper safety equipment, material and tools are onsite to perform required work, and the safe keeping of all company equipment and material Representing yourself and Rye Electric with pride and professionalism
Skills
and Experience Requirements:
A minimum of five years of experience as an Electrical Foreman, preferably with a high-density residential (apartments, condos, hotels, etc.) or commercial project background Hold a current State of California General Electrician certification or Journeyman License/Trainee Card (Preferred) Demonstrated track record of pre-planning abilities, successful project leadership and experience managing installation crew.

Demonstrated ability to complete projects on time and within estimated budget Thorough understanding of the electrical codes and installation methods Advanced abilities in reading and interpreting electrical plans and specifications Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with a wide range of individuals
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Ability to lift 50lbs from ground level and pull 50lbs of force Fully squat, stoop or kneel while wearing a 25lb tool belt Maintain a standing position for long period of time while performing repetitive actions Work off ladders, scaffold, man lifts or boom lifts While performing duties of the job, the employee may be exposed to a variety of weather conditions including cold, rain, heat, etc…and high noise levels
