EHS Compliance Project Lead – Specialty Oxidant Biocides

It is an exciting time to join us at ChemTreat as we expand, bringing on a Compliance Project Lead – Specialty Oxidant (SpecOx) Biocides! You will present preliminary findings of SpecOx compliance deficiencies/weaknesses, and find acceptable resolutions for audit findings. You will write comprehensive, concise, and accurate audit reports in a timely manner, clearly detailing findings. This role will travel 25-50%, planning and conducting compliance and management systems audits as needed! Your day-to-day: Conduct effective pre-audit preparation including: * Making initial contact with site leadership and establishing site-visit logistics, developing an audit plan and visit agenda * Reviewing completed pre-audit questionnaires and facility written programs * Researching and documenting appropriate audit criteria relevant to each site state and sub-jurisdictions Conduct on-site audits against applicable criteria, using due professional care and judgment. Collect and critically evaluate pertinent evidence including: * Making detailed visual observations of facility operations * Conducting interviews with relevant personnel * Examining relevant SpecOx-related documentation * Taking representative photographs of observed deficiencies and facility characteristics Are you qualified? * Bachelor’s in Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, or equivalent experience required. Technical, in-depth knowledge of specialty oxidant biocides preferred * Communication and interpersonal skills; Proven teamwork and leadership skills * Organizational skills; Self-management The salary range for this role is $80,000 – $94,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus pay.
