What you will be doing in this role:The Cardiac Sonographer Level II, assists in all procedures performed in the Non-Invasive Cardiac Laboratory (Echocardiography) and is a member of the Echo Laboratory.
He/she provides a safe patient care environment.
Has the responsibility and accountability for recording 2 Dimensional Echocardiograms/Doppler/Color Flow examinations using ultrasound equipment to provide data for diagnosis of heart ailments.
Demonstrates proficiency in the performance of all procedures and competency in the use of all related ultrasound equipment and computers.Requirements:Educational Requirement: Graduate from a minimum of 2-year diagnostic medical sonography from a program accredited by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
Licenses/Certifications: Current ARDMS/CCI registry required within a year of hire Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Experience: Skilled professional with a solid foundation in Echocardiography.
