Learn more about us here: www.Dnata.Com and join the dnata USA team today!Job SummaryAs a dnata Ground Service Agent, you will play an important part in helping flights run on schedule by providing effective and efficient ground support services, including but not limited to:Guiding inbound/outbound airplanes to and from the gateLifting, loading, unloading and transporting passenger bags and cargo to/from aircraft, bag carts, dollies and conveyor beltsDriving and/or operating ground support equipment, such as tow tractors, tow bars, belt loaders, container loaders, baggage tugs and more.Maintaining safety and security on the ramp and practicing all safety policies and proceduresCommunicating efficiently with ground personnel and flight crewsMaintaining an understanding of and following all applicable federal, state, airport, and company regulations, policies and proceduresWorking with other departments to ensure on-time performance of flightsPerforming other duties as assignedQualificationsMust pass a background check and drug screenPossess/maintain a valid state driver’s license and other FAA/Airport required identification/seals or authorizationsPossess a high school diploma or GED equivalentAble to proficiently speak, read, and write in EnglishPossess basic computer literacy To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without accommodations.RequirementsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily with or without accommodation.Including but not limited to standing, lifting, bending, stooping, walking, crawling, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of timePush, pull, lift and load up to 70 pounds (32 kg) on a regular basisAscend/descend jet-way stairs while carrying baggageAbility to read and interpret aircraft load sheets, checked baggage tags, and cargo labelsAbility to understand and react to verbal and visual commands and safety warnings, with and without assistance of sight or visual aidsWork outside in all types of weather and around jet and machinery noisesAirlines fly around the clock, so our dnata ground service agents need to be flexible to work various shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
