Disputes Specialist

Tasked with everything from auditing purchases to verifying credit card information, you will be part of a group dedicated to protecting our customers as well as the integrity of our platforms. In this vital role, you will use best-in-class technology alongside our own proprietary analytical models to ensure superior fraud prevention.In this role you will:Investigate and resolve disputed transactions by credit/debit cardholdersGather and evaluate data to resolve the dispute and establish the appropriate course of actionReview queued transactions and independently figure out if the reviewed transactions are fraudulent or legitimateResolve problems that require in depth investigation and/or researchResolve disputes with all payment processorsWork with peers and leadership to communicate fraud trends and share best practice ideas and informationHandle all aspects of the dispute process in compliance with applicable laws and regulationsConsistently find ways to increase speed, efficiency and accuracyReview representments to determine how to increase recovery ratesMaximize orders reviewed and processed while minimizing errors and lossesProvide the highest level of quality assurance in customer interaction with fewest touch pointsMaintain a positive attitude and be willing to adjust daily responsibilities to meet the needs of the business.Must be able to work one weekend day per-weekWe are looking for:1+ years of fraud prevention and/or dispute analysis related to online credit card fraud or bank related experienceKnowledge of pre-arbitration and compliance helpfulWorking knowledge of Customer Service and valuing the customer experienceExcellent attention to detail with consistent accuracyMust have the ability to meet critical deadlines in a fast paced environmentExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenSelf-starter and comfortable taking initiative while quickly grasping concepts, processes and ideas with little to no supervisionMust be highly organized Ability to think analytically and make accurate decisionsMust be able to work within a team environment and must be a team playerStrong proficiency working with web browsers and web based toolsGOAT is the global platform for the greatest products from the past, present and future.
