with existing technologies including chemical recycling The primary function of the Deco Operator is to safely keep the labeling machines operating in a productive, efficient, and effective manner.

This requires producing quality products with minimal scrap and downtime.

Accountabilities and Responsibilities: Must respect Amcor Rigid Packaging’s primary focus, that is to ensure the Safety of all employees.

Start up and shut down labeling equipment in a safe manner.

Make mechanical and system adjustments to machines to correct quality issues in the labeling process to prevent defects.

Perform quality checks on labeled bottles per policy, documenting any and all issues in the quality system.

Perform root cause analysis to determine true cause of machine issues prior to fixing them.

Must be willing and able to document all adjustments and changes to machinery.

Perform label changes as needed.

Perform preventative maintenance on the machines including cleaning of the machine.

Regularly evaluate the Standard Operation Procedures and recommend improvement opportunities.

Be attentive to inconsistencies, inefficiencies, and processes in need of improvement.

Attendance in a manufacturing plant is an essential function of this job.

If not, must possess strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Must possess a high level of attention-to-detail and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Plastic experience related to blow molding a plus Maintain an exceptional level of attendance and punctuality.
