RISE
– We provide weekly programming from central hubs in Springfield and surrounding rural communities to help families overcome the challenges that have kept them living in poverty.
Blue House Project
– We make home buying an affordable and viable option for low-income families through innovative loan options, financial advising, and home ownership education.
Healthy Homes Initiative
– We help families attain and maintain safe and healthy homes, reducing emergency medical services and improving overall health.
The Fairbanks Community Hub
– We have restored a 25,000 square foot historic building into a community hub for youth and adults from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds to improve quality of life.
Drew Lewis Foundation focuses on asset-based urban development to realize a community’s full potential.
Residents of a community are inclined to preserve what they love.
If a neighborhood’s parks, schools, and homes, are poorly kempt, the motivation to preserve them fades away.
An asset-based approach revitalizes the community infrastructure, and renews residents’ neighborhood pride.
The Drew Lewis Foundation plants roots in the community and builds from within, which opens up new opportunities for funding sources, and adds leverage to those already established.
The Drew Lewis Foundation creates special initiatives to raise awareness, provide resources, and assist in the preservation and renovation of community assets., which boost the economic and physical wellbeing of neighborhood residents.Member Duties : Member will evaluate the RISE program and its participants, collect and analyze quantitative data and manage data collecting systems (exampleHMIS).
