Los Angeles office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks cyber security attorney with 1+ years of experience in data protection and/or privacy and/or cyber liability.
The candidate will be independently managing a caseload of working cases from beginning to end.
Will be providing clients with cybersecurity and data privacy advice.
Communicating with clients and providing status reports.
Responding to 24/7 cyber hotline calls.
Triaging legal and forensics response to cybersecurity incidents.
Advising clients on response to cybersecurity and data privacy incidents.
Preparing data breach notification letters to individuals and regulators.
Responding to investigations by State and Federal regulators.
Defending third party claims and lawsuits arising out of a data breach.
Drafting privacy policies and procedures.
Drafting reports and recommendations to carriers and clients.
Must be admitted to practice in the state of California.
Experience handling data breach response in a fast-paced team environment preferred.
Experience advising clients on compliance with state, federal, and international privacy laws (including HIPAA, GLBA, GDPR, CCPA) preferred.
Legal project management experience is helpful.
The candidate should have a JD degree from an accredited law school.
Must have strong written and oral communication skills.
