Cyber Class Action Litigation Attorney

Prominent global law firm is seeking a Cyber Class Action Litigation Attorney to join their

Los Angeles or Orange County offices. Ideal candidate will have 6+ years of complex litigation experience in both State and Federal Courts.

Class action litigation and/or Data Privacy background is desired but not required! Opportunity to work a fully remote or hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities:

  • Incident response for cybersecurity and data privacy incidents
  • Assist with defense of privacy lawsuits and data breach class actions nationwide
  • Analysis of state, federal, and international privacy laws
  • Drafting legal notices of a data breach to individuals and regulators
  • Responding to regulatory investigations arising out of a data breach
  • Defending privacy lawsuits
  • Drafting privacy and security policies and procedures pursuant to HIPAA, BIPA, VPPA, and other statutes

Qualifications:

  • Class Action litigation and Cybersecurity and Data Privacy background a plus
  • Experience managing large-scale E-Discovery
  • Experience defending in data breach, BIPA, VPPA class actions preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of State and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure
  • Team player who can work both independently and manage junior attorneys

Base Salary range 160-225k+ Comprehensive Benefits Package
