Role Description: This position is for a Customer/1 Application Specialist will join a team that manages technical design and development of application changes and/or data related solutions for the Customer/1 CIS application for large utility companies.

This role will participate in large project development, which may include Customer/1 data mapping.

This role may also provide support for production application environments that includes the analysis/resolution of production batch abends, exceptions, and support tickets.

This role includes the support of junior designers/developers in a global delivery model.

The Work (Role Responsibility) Work with client business analysts to gain understanding of the stated business requirements and documented functional requirements.

Complete Application Development for complex application and/or data-related changes.

Work under senior project leadership and ensure on time delivery and escalation of risks/issues to delivery that may include the need for change management of the requested changes.

Ability to step in and program application and/or data changes for adhoc support or to resolve complex application issues for the development and production support teams.

Perform, and support others in, analysis and resolution of defects found in testing for application development changes.

Perform, and support others in, the analysis and resolution of production abends or other production issues as part of application support.

This may be during post-production warranty period or as part of ongoing production support activities.

The Customer/1 Application Specialist should be able to bridge the gap between Development and Design where application-level risks to delivery are proactively identified, communicated, and mitigated.

Candidate should be able to work in fast-paced multi-disciplinary environments in a global delivery model.

For now, all Accenture business travel, international and domestic, is currently restricted to client-essential sales/delivery activity only.

Basic Qualifications A minimum of 3 years of Customer/1 Application Development experience A minimum of 3 years of SQL design/development experience, including use with Customer/1 A minimum of 3 years of COBOL design/development experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years work experience).

If Associate’s Degree, must have equivalent minimum 6 years work experience Preferred Qualifications Experience with Customer/1 application analysis and technical design skills, with the ability to identify application impacts and estimates and offer multiple application design solutions for requested change requirements, OR Experience with Data Conversion, including data mapping and ETL development including Informatica or equivalent ETL tools Experience working in Agile delivery methodology Leadership experience that includes tracking of team-level assignments, status and delivery dates and managing of team-level risks/issues Professional Skill Requirements: Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment Proven ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills Ability to handle multiple projects/service requests and priorities Ability to provide on-call support outside of normal business hours, as needed As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado.

Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.

For the state of Colorado only , the range of starting pay for this role is $90,288
