Job Summary: Amentum is looking for a Top Secret cleared Custodian
– Part Time for the Day-shift to join our team in Chantilly, VA Under general supervision, the Custodian will clean and maintain, in an orderly condition, the designated areas in office buildings and related work and storage areas.
Successful completion of the duties of this position contributes to the attractiveness, safety and functionality of the facility.
Must be a U.S.
Citizen that has an active Top Secret clearance.
Hours: Day Shift
– Part time, 4-6 hour shifts anytime between 6am-4pm.
Very flexible to meet your scheduling needs Essential Responsibilities: Working under direction of a Facility Maintenance Custodial Lead, the Custodian candidate will perform the following duties:Keep commercial and institutional buildings in clean and orderly conditionMaintains an adequate inventory of hygiene/cleaning supplies to meet routine requirements.Operate floor cleaning and other cleaning equipmentRemove trash, sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, clean, wash, wax and buff offices, hallways, storage/warehouse areas, restrooms, windows, kitchen areas and associated spacesSweep, mop, clean and/or scrub walls, passenger elevators, glass, fixtures and stairsDust woodwork and furnitureMaintain and re-supply restrooms and perform routine restroom checksRemove and empty trash and garbage containers and deliver collected refuse to the loading dockShampoo carpets, strip, seal, finish, and polish floorsClean and sweep shop areasClean snow and debris from building entrancesComprehend written and oral instructionsMonitor building for maintenance/safety/security issues and report any violations to immediate Supervisor or ManagementAdhere to safety practices and proceduresPerform other job-related duties as required Minimum Requirements: Must have two (2) years janitorial experience including skills in the proper selection and application of cleaning solutions, and other materials, and in the operation of janitorial equipment and/or High school, technical school, apprenticeship, trade school graduate or equivalentMust be a U.S.
