CT Technologist Duties:
The Computed Tomography Technologist performs computerized axial tomography procedures including:
Providing quality services to client facilities and patients while working in an independent and professional manner
Obtains and evaluates patient-related information in order to produce appropriate images.
Demonstrates knowledge of age-related information to produce appropriate images
Ability to explain procedures to the patient
Maintains skills in order to complete duties in a timely and efficient manner
Operating radiographic equipment in an efficient manner in order to produce diagnostic radiographs
Administer contrast material according to physician request by means of existing IV line or by performing venipuncture and placing IV line using proper protocol and technique to obtain the optimum result.
Obtaining and evaluating patient-related information in terms of patient needs
Preventing the transfer of infection and blood borne contaminants
Complying with quality and quantity criteria of client facility and completing all assigned work
Complying with policies and procedures of client facility and Quik Travel Staffing.
Maintains compliance with client facility, Federal, State and County regulations

Minimum Requirements:
Current California Department of Health License/Certification as a Computed Tomography Technologist
1.5 years of experience as a CT Tech
American Heart Association BLS
LA Fire Safety Card
