THE POSITION

We are looking to add an In-House Counsel to our legal team with 2+ years of experience working at a nationally-recognized law firm or in-house at an internet/technology company to oversee the drafting and negotiation of day-to-day commercial contracts, assist with corporate governance, and advise the business on marketing and intellectual property issues.
Reporting to the Director – Legal & Business Affairs, this position will support many of FanDuel’s business teams.

Draft and negotiate a high volume of commercial and general enterprise contracts including agreements with vendors, sponsors and marketing partners Create and manage a library of form agreements and promotional terms Compose contest rules and promotion terms and conditions Advise the business on compliance with state, federal and international marketing and intellectual property laws Assist with corporate governance and entity licensing matters Support the FanDuel talent team on employment law matters Build close relationships with personnel at supported business operations and obtain and maintain a strong knowledge of the product and objectives of those operations Provide sound business judgment, confidence, a sense of ownership, drive, comfort making tough calls where the answer is not clear, and an aptitude to learn quickly the nuances of the internet, technology and media businesses
