We are currently seeking a Cost Analyst to support the Program Management Office of a complex, state of the art, enterprise information technology system.

This is a full-time, in-person position in the DC area.

473 Group offers a full range of benefits and a pay range of $80,000 to $190,000 based on experience.

You must have an active top-secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications (Need to have):Must have an active/current TS/SCI and be able to pass a CI Poly.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Management, Business, Economics, Finance, or related disciplines or equivalent training and/or experience with a Master’s degree or equivalent advanced training and/or experience.10 years or more years of specialized experience with DoD finance/acquisition and consulting or equivalent experience.

Experienced with MS Office including ExcelStrong data analysis, program evaluation, and critical thinking skills.Additional Qualifications (Nice to have):Familiar with procurement and creation of Bills of Materials.Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.Ability to employ problem-solving techniques in unique situations.Ability to use information technology to solve business problems.Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks.Excellent presentation and written communication skills.Responsibilities:Apply the Planning, Programming, and Budgeting & Execution System (PPBES) to an ACAT Program; gather, maintain, review, and analyze program and budget data; and support the establishment of the required funding, schedule, performance, and supportability requirements throughout the acquisition life cycle.Assist in the planning, development, and maintenance of spend plans, including all necessary budget, financial status, charts, briefings, schedules, progress reports, and related documentation.Perform cost estimation and/or analysis using a variety of techniques (i.e., modeling, parametric analysis, engineering estimates, learning curve, risk analysis, and cost estimating relationships) in order to assist in the development of Life Cycle Cost Estimates (LCCEs), Independent Cost Estimates (ICEs)/Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs), Total Ownership Costs (TOCs), and/or Enterprise Agreements (EAs) for use in Business Case Analysis (BCAs), Cost-Benefit Analyses (CBAs), Return On Investment (ROI) calculation, Best Value determination, risk assessments, Analyses of Alternatives (AoAs), and/or program budget development.Analyze impacts to budget revisions and recommend courses of action to minimize adverse effects to program execution.Perform comprehensive cost analysis and modeling supporting acquisition requirements; provide independent analysis of requirements, use and correctly apply appropriate cost estimating methodologies, and develop logical cost estimates that are defensible and supportable.Develop and maintain life cycle cost estimates and conduct life cycle costs analyses in support of the program.Provide support to functional leads for the development of work statements, requirement documents, program schedules, and standard operating procedures.Travel Requirements: Travel may be required within Washington National Capital Region (NCR) and other organizational locations CONUS and OCONUS on an as-needed basis for customer or corporate requirements.
