The position of Copywriter is a part-time hourly position which could be employment or contract-based.
The position consists of a variety of writing tasks such as web content and blog posts, email copy, social media copy, some copy editing, etc.
for Tribute Media and its clients.
It is a long-term position and could be remote.
This job includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
- Writing on assigned subjects
- Meeting an approximate word count
- Writing in Markdown
- Research of a particular industry as assigned
- Understanding given websites voice, style, and published content
- Providing appropriate titles, headings, and calls to action
- Including keywords (provided) in the titles, headings, and content
Writers we work with have:
- Knowledge of SEO best practices
- The ability to offer a unique perspective on a given topic
- A writing style that is mostly free of grammatical errors and is concise and accessible
