The Computer Systems Analyst will evaluate current information technology systems and make recommendations for improvement. They will also work closely with other staff to analyze business processes and suggest improvements. They will also be responsible for providing technical support for the organizationrsquos hardware and software. This position reports to the IT Manager. This position is classified exempt. Duties Responsibilities 25 Offer technical assistance on the delivery, configuration, set up, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer systems, hardware, and software 20 Analyze and audit existing systems to identify areas for improvement 20 Work with other departments to build and implement IT systems for the organization 15 Perform routine maintenance on software and hardware that compose existing systems 15 Ensure that all systems and programs are carefully documented 5 Train staff in the use of computer systems, hardware, and software Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer systems analysis, computer science, computer information systems (CIS), management information systems (MIS), business intelligence or a similar field of study 3+ years working in a systems analyst role Knowledge, Skills, Ability Superior critical thinking abilities are essential to determine the needs of an organization and how to support them with IT systems Should have a collaborative attitude and work well as part of a team Excellent communication skills Must have solid time management skills in order to anticipate time needed to complete projects Willing to work irregular hours as needed
