Member of the 24/7 operations team, supporting the Government Business Division of Anthem.

Responsible for monitoring and recovery of core applications and processes, ensuring our SLAs and regulatory obligations are met.

Good written and oral communication skills, and great customer service skills required.

The team works in 4 day shifts, and this position is for the 2PM-1AM Sunday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Saturday shifts.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Monitors daily /nightly batch processing schedules to ensure job flows are completed in a timely manner.

Provides back-up to the IT Call Center during off hours to enable customers to access systems.

Adheres to standard data management practices Monitoring back-up data and ensuring that off-site requirements are met for midrange and/or mainframe LAN servers and workstations.

Ensures documentation is written and kept updated on current procedures.

Ensures out-of-house data is available for distribution.

Internal Broadcasting and Leadership communication Recover jobs and processes that fail according to documentation Tier 1 support of GBD IT Processes, engage with transition of work onto the team and uphold team standards Desire for long term career in an IT field required Incubator team model: Technical & soft skills training part of team structure .

Qualifications Minimum Qualification Requires a H.S.

diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 1 year personal computer experience.
