Communications Professional Position Type: Contract Position Location: Woodlands, TX Position Salary: Market Rate (Depending on Experience) Responsibilities Work collaboratively with Public Affairs team to plan and execute announcements for internal and external audiences Create strategic communication plans for internal initiatives that take into consideration audience segmentation, synergies with existing programs, and cadence of message delivery Develop content to support internal communications initiatives – write stories and copy for company intranet, develop presentations and talking points, and work with designers to develop compelling graphics Assist with video coordination/development of messages Engage with subject matter experts across the company to support their communication needs in a wide range of areas, including Manufacturing, Reliability, Business Transformation, Human Resources, employee networks, EHSS, Legal, etc.

Work collaboratively with communicators to effectively manage projects from start-to-finish, ensuring strict adherence to detailed timelines, review processes, etc.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree from a four year university in communications, public relations, public affairs, advertising, or related professional background 5 years’ experience in a professional communications background in writing Microsoft Suite and SharePoint experience required.

Able to utilize Associated Press Style Writing.
