Job Details
Collections
Participate in day-to-day accounting activities, such as cash applications (ACH, Checks, Wires, Credit Card), responding to customer inquiries
Ensure customers are getting their invoices sent to them timely (email, EDI, portal, etc.)
Contacts customers via collection calls and/or correspondence regarding their accounts.
Take necessary actions to encourage debt payments
Review monthly AR aging reports to identify collection issues
Contact customers to confirm receipt of invoices, obtain payment of outstanding accounts receivable, and remedy delinquency or non-payments.
Sending customer statements to remind them of any past due invoices or prepayments/deposits, and escalating to management if not receiving a timely response
2-3+ years of experience as a Collections or Account Receivable or similar role
