We are looking for an experienced Credit and Collections Analyst to perform these key functions at our Houston, TX location.

If you have strong organizational and interpersonal skills, past personal success and a commitment to continual improvement and personal/professional growth, please apply today Position Summary: The Credit and Collections Analyst will be responsible for evaluating customer account statements, recording customer payments, analyzing credit scores, and working with the sales teams to collect outstanding balances.

Essential Functions: Process daily cash application of customer payments Update and maintain weekly cash inflow schedule to communicate collection trends Maintain customer aging reports through timely application of adjustments Coordinate with the sales team and customer service for resolution of all customer payments and prepayments Analyze and communicate the status of past due accounts to key stakeholders Reconcile monthly AR cash receipts to bank records Maintain all new and existing customer accounts Perform placement and release of credit holds, as outlined by internal procedure and credit terms Process credit applications, including review of credit references through independent verification and by use of a credit service Provide analysis on customer accounts to assist with bad debt reserve and help minimize exposure Consistently improve productivity and efficiency through process improvement initiatives, time management, and change management Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned Job Requirements and Skill Sets: Associates or Bachelors Degree preferred Two to four years of experience in accounts receivable, credit and collections High degree of accuracy and attention to detail Basic understanding of accounting principles Strong computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office and related applications Experience working in ERP systems (Infor Syteline 9 or 10 a plus) Excellent verbal and written communication skills In addition to a great working environment, AMI offers an excellent total compensation package which includes: Medical/Prescription & Dental 401k Plan including an Employer Match, up to 6% Short & long-term disability, at no cost Group term life, at no cost Vision at discounted rates Voluntary life at discounted rates 10 paid holidays 3 personal days 3 weeks Paid Time Off Employee Assistance Programs Leadership Development Other great perks Active Minerals International is an equal opportunity employer that does not discriminate on the basis of age, color, religion, disability, marital status, national origin, race, sex, sexual orientation, or veteran status.
