We are hiring for weekend part time Baristas. PLEASE NOTE: We cross-train all of our FOH staff on Hosting and Running and often schedule them to fill these roles. We come from a place of complete equity and value all of our FOH positions equally, including when it comes to compensation and tip shares.

Consistent weekend availability is required. Must have 2 years of experience at similarly-minded restaurants or in a context of similarly ambitious hospitality. Responsibilities and qualities may include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Providing exceptional hospitality during all interactions with guests
  • Passion for Coffee and Tea!
  • Fully capable of operating a coffee station without training (latte art, dialing coffee, etc.)
  • Sense of urgency, while maintaining a calm demeanor
  • Willingness to take on any task assigned
  • Eagerness to join a tight-knit team
  • Sensitivity and complete adherence to all Covid-19 protocols
  • Ability to stand for 8-hour shifts, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
  • California Food Handler Certified

Physical Requirements:

  • This is a role that requires physical stamina carrying up to 50 pounds of items such as wine, market goods, tables & chairs, heat lamps; organizing shop, service and storage areas; and maintaining an energized presence on the floor during multiple hours of service.
