is looking for a Mortgage Closer to join their team.
This position will be ensuring the compliance of SBA’s SOPs, which includes origination, closing and loan servicing.
To ensure compliance with bank and SBA requirements in terms of documentation and file completion.
Essential Job Functions
Review originated SBA loans and ensure the SBA eligibility and within SOP guidelines for SBA guarantee, the consistency between Loan Authorization and Credit Memorandum, and review SBA forms and SBA loan documentations.
Prepare LAN and Etran.
Be a liaison person to work with credit, loan documentation, loan accounting, underwriter and account officer to ensure all required documents are collected and accurate, prepare to fund the loans based on the closing dates.
Ensure the SBA guaranty fees are properly paid.
Process loan servicing according to updated servicing SOPs.
Monitor the progress of credit covenants reminder sent to loan customers for collecting tax returns and financials for term loan review.
Comply with all BSA training and procedures.
May have other assignments as needed.
Monitor the progress of past due loans before month end.
Qualifications/Requirements
Must have 3 years banking experience.
Previous work related skill, knowledge or experience is required.
Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Be detail oriented and well organized.
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service and personal services.
Knowledge of SBA eligibility SOP and requirements.
