Chief Schools Officer

The Chief Schools Officer is responsible for overseeing curriculum, instruction, assessment, and management of schools within the client. They report to the Chief Executive Officer and provide academic and operational leadership across the charter network, ensuring educational excellence and compliance. This role involves developing and implementing educational programs and policies that align with the network’s mission and goals, as well as supporting and evaluating school principals to foster continuous improvement and professional development. The Chief Schools Officer must have a deep commitment to academic performance and the ability to lead with a focus on equity and data-driven decision-making.Requirements for the position include a Bachelor’s degree, with a Master’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field preferred. A valid CA Clear Administrative Credential is also required. The ideal candidate will have experience in educational leadership and a strong understanding of curriculum development and assessment. They must be able to effectively lead and support school principals, as well as demonstrate a commitment to educational excellence and equity. The Chief Schools Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of education and compliance within the charter network.
