Role: Business System Analyst
Functional Area: Techno-Function Analyst

Location: US location (Santa Clara, CA / Los Angeles, CA) and Remote as on today
The Opportunity:
The customer is one of the largest Energy & Utilities company in USA. We are modernizing their legacy work & asset management applications and moving it to Cloud. This role will be working with Business SME/ Product Owner to understand requirement and defining Features that need to be prioritized for development. Gathering business requirement around metrics and identifying the Features and creating User Stories for the Product Backlog is another critical activity for this role.
Below are the key requirements for this role:
· 6+ years of experience working as Techno-Functional role
· Excellent communication & documentation skills, should work independently
· Expertise in work management systems OR· Expertise in asset management systems is must.
- Experience in large scale modernization initiatives is a plus
- Provide essential input to other stakeholders so that plans are based on analysis of historical performance and real time data
- Presenting requirements & collaboration across cross functional teams
- Have familiarity with forecasting, budgeting and scheduling concepts
· Assess existing applications and prepare requirement documents.
· Prepare Functional Requirement Documents & User Stories.
· Work with Business users to elicit & validate requirements for Modernization of application (SaaS based products)
· Experienced in Agile Scrum & SDLC methodologies
· Ready to work with multi-vendor teams from distributed locations
Soft Skills: Good communication skills, Analytical & Problem-Solving skills
Good to Have skills:
· Awareness of Cloud technologies (AWS/Azure)
· Awareness UI Technologies
· Understanding UX designs
