Business Development Associate

The Steady team is looking for a high energy and dynamic Business Development Associate to provide pre-sales support.

This position is responsible for working with the Partnerships and Business Development team in developing partners, new leads, and proposals for prospective clients.

This role will be responsible for proactive outreach as well as servicing inbound sales and related inquiries with a focus on engaging and qualifying all prospective customers, and is one of the first touch points for prospects with the opportunity to set the tone for the sales cycle following.

This position will report to the VP of Customer Success & Partnerships.

Job Requirements:
Responsibilities: Identify new opportunities, be proactive in outreach to prospective partners, and develop potential partner intelligence Respond, engage, and qualify inbound leads and inquiries Implement creative ways to engage and build rapport to maintain book of prospects Communicate the value and areas of opportunities Steady provides to prospects via phone and email Research target companies and prepare executive summaries for the team ahead of all calls Book prospective partner calls/meetings for team Build sales presentations, update existing materials, and manage sales pipeline Contribute original ideas, be forward thinking and plan strategically when developing sales presentations and partner proposals Achieve and exceed daily KPI’s and monthly quota Qualifications: BA/BS degree and 3+ years of B2B business development or sales support experience Proven business development success through effective use of core sales tools: LinkedIn, PipeDrive, Tableau, Google Apps, Microsoft Office, etc.

Knowledge of Photoshop a plus Willing to hop on the phone with new people every single day and explain Steady’s value proposition as it relates to each individual partner Capable of understanding partner pain points, requirements and correlating potential business to value that can be provided by Steady Driven, gritty, and team-oriented Strong and professional communication skills –
– written, verbal, presentation Aptitude to manage numerous requests and time demands concurrently Ability to put together sophisticated proposals in a timely manner Promotes a strong sense of urgency for reaching goals and key deliverables Acts without being told what to do and brings new ideas to the company Adaptable to constructive criticism and creative thinker Contributes fully to the team effort and plays an integral part in the smooth running of sales process
