Apex Systems: Technical Lead

Apex Systems is looking for a Director level Technical Lead to join our client’s team The client-site is located in Reston, VA but this position is 100% remote.

Our client is having an in-person meet-and-greet tomorrow as they are looking to place high-level candidates ASAP Qualifications: Experience working in large Fortune 500 environments is a significant plus Proven experience successfully delivering multiple, concurrent, large-scale high-impact initiatives Strong Java, Spring framework, Kafka, SQL and cloud experience such as Azure Strong experience in RESTful Microservices Container technologies such as Docker on Kubernetes Ability to partner effectively and build consensus with multiple stakeholders, including Business, Product, UX, and other Engineering teams Proven experience in driving service quality, stability, and performance Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and organizational skills Data-driven: must be able to quantify opportunities and measure the quality, performance, and business impact of our solutions solution and use the data to inform prioritization and operationResponsibilities: Associate productivity tools are used by millions of associates worldwide to perform critical job functions from receiving, to inventory, to merchandise movement As a Senior Manager II, you will lead and inspire your teams while effectively prioritizing work and maintaining a strong customer focus to create business value while putting processes in-place to ensure successful outcomes You will find ways to deliver incremental value while solving tactical problems strategically Lead the work of multiple teams in software development and design, identifying short and long term solutions and timeline; reviewing and approvingproposed solutions, implementing new architectural patterns; and performing design and code reviews of changes Provides support to the business for new and existing systems by responding to user questions, concerns, and issues (for example, technical feasibility); researching and identifying needed solutions; determining implementation designs; providing guidance regarding implications of new and enhanced systems; and directing users to appropriate contacts for issues outside of own domain Troubleshoots business and production issues by gathering information (for example, issue, impact, criticality); performing root cause analysis to reduce future issues; engaging support teams when needed; developing solutions; driving the development of an action plan; performing actions as designated in the plan; and completing online documentation Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligningefforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitmentfor perspectives and rationales Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress andresults; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilitiesBenefits Beyond competitive pay, you can receive incentive awards for your performance Other great perks include 401(k) match, stock purchase plan, paid maternity and parental leave, PTO, multiple health plans, and much more
