Position Description
Project Nautilus–Provide detailed business analysis for the Slack Sales and Marketing teams to ensure business readiness and continuity at go-live of integration to Client business processes and systems.
Each Business Analyst will be responsible for key business process areas (e.g., Sales or Customer Success), but allocation can shuffle based on volume of work generated through evolution of testing efforts.
Details:
Assist the business in analyzing and confirming overall business readiness for Slack Integration Go-Live targeted to occur in March 2023 as estimated.
The following functions will be considered in-scope for the analysis and grouped accordingly:
Sales/Sales Ops, Marketing, Deal Desk, Forecasting
Quote 2 Cash/Finance Related: Reporting and Analytics, ProdOps, finOps, Compensation, Billing, Order Management
Post Sales: Support, Renewals, Customer Success, Entitlements
Partner: Partner Operations, Partner Account Management
Other: Provisioning, Product Release Readiness
Work with the business to prepare for and complete the associated business readiness activities including:
Identification, documentation, and determination of impact of manual work processes present upon cutover
Identification and documentation of swivel-chair processes present upon cutover (if applicable)
Create a run list of decisions (either made or to be made) on policies or business process that can be either delivered as a library or as an FAQ at go-live for end user support in alignment with BT Change Management team.
Create change management collateral to prepare the business for the impact of new processes, manual workarounds, and swivel chair procedures.
Work with business stakeholders to compile go-live business cutover sequencing activities and post go-live run list to confirm comprehensive coverage across business activities
Ensure end to end business process mapping and upstream/downstream dependency considerations
Compilation and definition of associated business risks and the respective mitigation plan
For all known and future P0, P1 and P2 bugs work with respective business leads to confirm the impact of the bug, overall business disruption, and document the manual workaround solution upon go-live.
Confirm manual workarounds coordinate with program change management and enablement activities to update the respective intervention strategy (e.g training and comms) and the Manual Workaround quip document.
Review or create list of known manual business workaround to analyze potential impacts to the business based on an increase in effort from time spent completing that activity today.
Create overarching project update and status plan for business readiness.
Provide frequent weekly status updates based on overall business readiness ahead of go/.no-go decisions and go-live cutover event.
Coordinate with Business Technology (BT) and Program management functions to provide updates, resolve dependencies, and recommendations related to business escalations.
