Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDevelop forecasts for all assigned items using combination of statistical forecasting methods and business intelligenceBuilds transitions plansPartner with Category Teams in discussion of business plansUnderstands inventory flow life cycleResearch forecast error reports to identify items that need forecast adjustmentsDevelop new metrics and reports to track forecast accuracy and sales trendsCollaborate with key players to build and monitor forecasts for new itemsAnalyze impacts of advertising, new item introduction, price elasticity, etc… on an items sale ratePrepare item summaries for executive review on sales and forecast patternsAdditional Duties as assigned by managementRegular Attendance is requiredScopeStaff supervision and Development –NoDecision Making – Provides data for decision support, Provides consultation or expert adviceTravel – NALocation –
