has an opening for a Business Analyst in the Allowance Audit department for the National Services Center in Phoenix, AZ.
The Business Analyst is a critical role that supports the Allowance Audit/Billing teams in the billing, audit, and collection of funds due to the company.
The successful candidate will use technical skills to streamline business processes and ensure existing tools meet the needs of business users.
The position will be based in Phoenix, AZ.
Main responsibilities Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Apply strong critical thinking skills to identify issues, recommend options, and implement solutions.
Develop and maintain tools/processes for automating and enhancing data analysis.
Translate and summarize complex data.
Output should be easily understood and actionable.
Develop and distribute adhoc report requests.
Be accessible to the customer (internal and external) by ensuring an open line of communication.
Ensure all applications/reports/queries have been documented.
Lead or participate in design/testing efforts to implement solutions for areas of improvement for Allowance Audit/Billing.
Work with business end users to analyze business problems, determine requirements, and specify appropriate technical solutions; partner with IT as needed.
Create, design, and deliver intuitive design mockups and prototypes to effectively communicate interactions and design ideas.
What we are searching for We believe the successful candidate has these qualifications and experience: 2 – 5 years’ experience in an analytical and reporting capacity.
2 – 5 years’ experience with SQL (SQL Server and Snowflake experience a plus) Big plus if you have experience with VBA or another object-oriented programming language.
Highly motivated, hands-on, and results oriented.
Strong analytical and design skills.
Strong experience working in the Microsoft Office suite of products such as Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision under rigid time constraints.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Honest and trustworthy, exhibiting sound business ethics.
Ability to learn new technologies and business requirements.
Ability to train users or give formal presentations in large group settings.
4 year degree in a Computer Science related field or equivalent experience.
