Product Safety Engineer

We are a world leader in burner management systems, flame detection and combustion products, serving the power and industrial process industries. Due to recent growth and demand for our products and services, we are in need of an experienced Safety Engineer to support our product development processes & systems in compliance with requirements of Functional Safety Standard IEC615008.

What You Will Be Doing

You will be involved in extensive cross-functional interaction, particularly with manufacturing, quality, sales, and marketing, and maintaining track of ongoing compliance requirements at each stage of product development..

What You Need for this Position

Must Have

  • 5+ years of experience with functional safety product development processes
  • 2+ years prior experience in the development of safety products in conformity with IEC 61508 / IEC61511
  • 2+ years working with embedded hardware and firmware designs
