Job Description The Business Advising Program Coordinator is a grant funded role that will report to the Vice President of Entrepreneurship & Workforce Development.
The ideal candidate is a critical thinking that understands the Los Angeles small business eco-system.
The Program Coordinator will be responsible for program coordination and administrative duties that come along with both the Resilient Business Program and the Dream Fund Program.
The position is remote with the potential of 2 or more days a week in the LA Chamber office.
Job Responsibilities: Perform daily administrative and operational tasks.
Maintain the database of clients and assign them to the respective advisor.
Assist in creating an outreach and recruitment plan to gain more traction for both the Resilient Business Program and the Dream Fund Program.
Track and maintain all registrations for the Dream Fund.
Respond to any questions from the community regarding either of the two programs.
Work closely with the Advisors to make sure all needs are met.
Collect, manage, and analyze program data to ensure program performance and outcomes.
Perform any other tasks or functions that may be deemed necessary to the daily operations of the Resilient Business Program and the Dream Fund Program.
Requirements Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in related field Experience coordinating in-person and virtual events and workshops Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience in project management, meeting impact goals, and outcomes analysis Ability to provide excellent customer service and be a collaborative cross-departmental team player Ability to produce a large quantity of high-quality work Evidence of working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint) Preferred experience using Salesforce, Asana, and Slack Proficient in utilizing Zoom or other online platforms for events/trainings Ability to work in a hybrid environment (office/home) Time Commitment & Pay Rate The position is a part time contracting role that will begin in April and will end when the contract period is up.
The workload will require 20 hours a week for the remainder of the contracting period.
Pay rate for the role will be $18-20 per hour.
