Relief Veterinarians (DVM), FT, PT (CVA, CCRT, CCRP)

WHO WE AREPacific Animal Wellness Rehabilitation Center (PAW REHAB) is a state-of- the-art veterinary facility dedicated to physical rehabilitation therapy for pets. We provide rehabilitation therapy for injured, debilitated, and post-surgical pets, with a focus on chronic pain management, mobility solutions, and wellness. Some of our services include cold laser treatment, underwater and land treadmill, therapeutic exercises, E-stim, TENS, electro magnetic field therapy, and therapeutic ultrasound. We are a two doctor practice with eight support staff. WHO WE NEEDRELIEF DVMSWe are looking for a DVM to oversee an experienced veterinary technician, assistant and administrative staff during vacation and various time-off events for our veterinarians. This is low stress environment with minimal case supervision. As the only DVM on site during these shifts your supervision is needed for our technicians to continue seeing pre-existing rehabilitation cases. FT / PT Veterinary Acupuncturist/Veterinary Rehabilitation Practitioner (CVA, CCRT/CCRP eligible or certified) Qualifications: Excellent client communication skills, minimum of 2 years veterinary experience or veterinary internship completed, training/coursework/experience performing acupuncture or rehabilitation therapy (certification preferred). Requires: DVM or VMD, State of CA license, DEA license. We are accessible via the 405 and 101 freeways and the major boulevards of the Ventura/Cahuenga corridors and Sepulveda Blvd. We are adjacent to Studio City, North Hollywood, Burbank, Warner Bros. and Universal City.Our Owner/Medical Director is a veterinarian with over 15 years of experience in veterinary rehabilitation therapy and acupuncture and over 25 years in the field veterinary medicine. Special interests include geriatric, neurological and feline rehabilitation therapy.Our holistic approach to rehabilitation includes both conventional and Eastern medicine including acupuncture and herbal therapy.
