Phantom Works, Lead Space Radar System Analysis Engineer El Segundo, CABoeing Phantom Works creates the next generation products and services for the Boeing Defense, Space & Security business and is currently looking for a Lead Space Radar System Analysis Engineer to join our team in El Segundo, CA.

We work with proprietary customers in the development of the next-generation technologies in space.

Phantom Works focuses on rapid prototyping to demonstrate a host of mission-focused technologies for a variety of customers.

Our group works all facets of engineering from technology investment, concept development, proposal writing, requirements and design, build, integration, test, and demonstration of products in their relevant environments.We are seeking an Experienced Space Radar System Analysis Engineer with experience in satellites to work in a rapid development environment.

This engineer will need experience evaluating customer electromagnetic needs to define and coordinate space system requirements for electrical Electronic systems, mechanical systems, interconnects and structures.

The role will lead the payload design, development and production for a small spacecraft.Position Responsibilities:* Design, develop, and specify a radar payload for space.

* Understanding of electrical, mechanical, radar, software and sensor engineering for space products* Knowledge and ability to perform analyses in support of a complex space system.

* Coordination between multiple Boeing sites in support of a space system.* Experience in taking a rapid prototype system into a production programBasic Qualification and Experience Required:* **This position requires an active U.S.

Top Secret Security Clearance with a (Tier 5) Investigation, also known as an (SSBI) that has been successfully completed within the last 5 years.

(A U.S.

Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active).

Boeing Security will validate clearance level.* BS degree or higher in Computer Science, Math, Physics or Engineering is required.* Experience in developing a space radar payload* Experience in developing payload-level requirements and verification/validation plansPreferred Qualifications and Experience:* SCI Investigation* Experience in development, build and test of small and medium-sized spacecraft payloads* Experience in a dynamic rapid prototyping environment* Prior history working proprietary programs with a variety of Government entities in a classified environmentEducation:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.G.

Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.G.

PhD+4 years’ related work experience, Master+7 years’ related work experience).

In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.RelocationThis position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
