ID: 2022-1831 Department: May Center [28] Job Summary 92Y Athletics has a robust birthday party department and we are looking for charismatic, experienced, professional teachers, actors and coaches who love teaching children to join our team Year-round opportunities are available.
This is a part-time position with no set hours as birthday party availability depends weekly.
Seeking gymnastics, parkour, dance and sports instructors.
Opportunities available Saturdays and Sunday.
Training available but experienced coaches and teachers preferred.

92Y is a world-class cultural community center that offers perks of gym membership, discounts on events, cutting-edge training and working with a professional & passionate team Responsible for safety and oversight of children at all times, including taking frequent head counts Responsible for calling party hosts prior to the event to review the itinerary Responsible for working in a collaborative environment and communicating with colleagues before and during events Responsible for delivering age-appropriate curriculum Responsible for attending quarterly birthday party staff meetings Responsible for learning and knowing locations of all 92Y event rooms, as well as how to coordinate with security, the membership desk team, and know where important party items are located on-site Responsible for greeting all children and families with a positive attitude and delivering a fun experience Experience, Education, & Skills Desired High school diploma required.
Certifications in sports, gymnastics, education and other specializations highly preferred.
A minimum of 2 years’ experience working with children in the age range of 12 months up to 12 years old.
Teaching or coaching certifications highly preferred.
CPR certification required within 6 months of being hired.
