Description: Seeking an outstanding Molecular Biologist.
We are a fast-paced, timeline-driven, team-oriented environment that requires collaboration, strong attention to detail and adherence to strict Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and/or internal Quality Management System (QMS).
Responsibilities for this position include: Designing, testing and validating quantitative Real-time PCR assays, digital PCR assays, and qualitative traditional PCR assays compliant with specific regulatory acceptance criteria to support global submissions of agriculture biotech products Genomic DNA extraction, purification and quantification Sample and reagent preparation and handling Generating high quality molecular data required for regulatory approvals Required Education and Skills/Experience: Minimum of a Masters degree in Molecular Biology or a related field Experience in Real-time PCR, traditional PCR, gel electrophoresis, PCR primer/probe design, and organic solvent-based genomic DNA extraction, purification and quantification Excellent communication, data documentation report writing, and team work skills Results orientated problem solver who is self-motivated and can meet timelines Strong computer skills and digital fluency Additional Skills & Qualifications: Required Education and Skills/Experience: Minimum of a Masters degree in Molecular Biology or a related field Experience in Real-time PCR, traditional PCR, gel electrophoresis, PCR primer/probe design, and organic solvent-based genomic DNA extraction, purification and quantification Excellent communication, data documentation report writing, and team work skills Results orientated problem solver who is self-motivated and can meet timelines Strong computer skills and digital fluency Experience Level: Entry Level About Actalent: Actalent connects passion with purpose.
