Billing and Coding Specialist
– Pittsburgh, PAAdagio Health Inc is looking to hire a full-time Billing and Coding Specialist for its Pittsburgh, PA central office.
This position reports to the Director of Finance.

You will spend part of the day reviewing and analyzing patient bills, insurance payments, and contractual adjustments.
You will utilize your attention-to-detail skills to assist with customer service inquiries, policy issues, audits, and monthly billing.

Assists with the review and maintenance of accounting policies and procedures, monitoring for new funding requirements.Assist in the review of Third-Party Billing Contractors, with feedback from the medical offices and internal review staff.Creates and maintains Adagio Health electronic health record system reports as required for funding and operationsMonitor incoming and outgoing program bills received by Adagio Health and its subcontractors to determine program eligibility and bill services accordingly, while returning unallowed services Support Adagio Health medical office staff and its subcontracted sites with program billing and adherence to grant requirements.Responsible for monthly program billing, reporting, and financial records as required for internal and external requirements.All other duties as requested.QUALIFICATIONS FOR A BILLING AND CODING SPECIALISTHigh-school Diploma or equivalent requiredRelevant Professional Certification in billing/coding preferredOne year of relevant billing/coding experienceWorking knowledge of Third-Party Terms and Regulatory RequirementsProficiency in Excel and Word documents, with close attention to detail.
