This position is within the Data & Analytics organization, which is charged with the mission of delivering business insights through advanced analytics and reporting NOTE: OPEN TO WORK REMOTE WITHIN THE U.S.A Job Summary Design and build stunning and creative front-end user experiences with an emphasis on big data visualization and analytics Ensure delightful user experience through fast, interactive and attractive data visualization and story telling Develop dashboards & analytics visualizations using PowerBI, working in a cross functional team of UX designers, data architects, and business analysts Lead the establishment of a Power BI competency within the team Job Duties & Responsibilities Develop, construct, test and maintain a variety of data explorations, data wrangling, and data visualizations using Power BI Assist in conducting technical training and onboarding of new staff Manage and Coach team members and assist with their work, including providing coaching, feedback and guidance on work performance Work with UX designers to ensure the technical feasibility of their interaction & visual designs Work with data architects to facilitate technical design of complex data sourcing, transformation and aggregation logic, ensuring business analytics requirements are met.

Guide and support other Power BI developers with technical expertise and advice Develop best practices and standards around Power BI Development Establish forward looking business intelligence and analytics objectives and developing the strategies and actions for the team to achieve them Qualifications Bachelors Degree in related field or equivalent experience.

10 years of end-to-end experience in working with data; including data discovery, data integration, data analysis, data manipulation and creation of reports & visualizations 3-4 years of experience in Power BI Extensive experience building complex DAX functions, SQL scripts, reports, and dashboards Extensive experience working with data gateway, data integration, self-service data preparation Extensive experience working with data flows, data sets, and data pipelines within Power BI Experience leading technical delivery teams, overseeing all technical requirements and deliverables Extensive experience in data cleansing, masking, and optimization for data consumption Deeply knowledgeable in Business Intelligence Life Cycle; from data ingestion to data visualization Knowledgeable in SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) and the development of cubes to provide speed-of-thought processing Knowledgeable in Agile software development and DevOps methodologies.

Familiarity with version control tools (Github, Bitbucket, etc) & JIRA is a plus Has strong presentation and collaboration skills and can communicate all aspects of the job requirements, including the creation of formal documentation Independent.

Strong critical thinking, decision making, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Possesses strong, planning, execution and multitasking skills and demonstrated ability to reprioritize accordingly.

Must be able to manage quickly changing priorities while meeting deadlines Preferred Qualifications Either a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, Bus Analytics or related required and strong track record of leveraging technology and programming capabilities 5 years of leadership expertise with direct reports is highly desired Additional Degree or experience with Data Science or another related field Experienced at managing a team of BI developers and modelers
