UPS Capital, a financial subsidiary of UPS, is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant III for our Claims and Subrogation Group. The ideal candidate will excel in a fast-paced office environment and have strong technology, analytical, oral/written communication, problem solving and time management skills.
The Administrative Assistant responsibilities include but are not limited to the
following:
- Creation of incoming claim files from a variety of sources, gathering critical information from
internal systems to generate supporting documentation and distribution of files to examiners. - Processing of data for contractual claim agreements.
- Ability to work effectively with in-house customers, staff members, and vendors.
- Timely ability to gain working knowledge of PC systems and Operations systems software relevant
to the UPS environment.
Preferred Skills and Education:
- A Georgia Property/Casualty Insurance license is preferred OR the candidate must
be willing and able to obtain a license (UPS Capital will pay for the course and testing). - Must have demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
under minimal supervision with a high level of attention to detail. - Must have strong analytical, oral and written communication, problem solving and time management skills.
- Must have the ability to work in a time critical environment and manage customer
support challenges. - Must be able to type 20-30 wpm.
- Must have professional office and telephone etiquette.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Power Point and Access.
- A Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.
