Job Duties: Software engineer who will develop highly secure and resilient asynchronous backend software architecture Ideally has a deep understanding of blockchain technology Architect and develop distributed systems in Rust Write reusable, testable, and efficient code Write highly secure and scalable services Coding standards and quality Testing coverage to enable continuous delivery Required Work Skills and Qualifications: 7 years of professional software development experience in strongly typed languages Interest in cryptocurrency and blockchain technology is a must Production software experience with Rust preferred Champion for coding standards and code quality Ability to exercise technical and product judgment in solving roadblocks Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to collaborate, share ideas and present concepts effectively Self-starter, enjoy high ownership fast pace environments Constantly seek to improve work with low supervision Preferred Work Skills and Qualifications: Experience with C++11, Rust, Go, Swift, Kotlin FinTech technologies Knowledge of Cryptography and Blockchain protocols are a plus Blockchain programming experience (EVM and/or Rust) SQL databases, Postgres and PL/pgSQL Open Source Contributions experience Advanced Degree in Computer Science is preferred Experience working with a Start-Up company About Aleron companies : Aleron companies (Acara Solutions, Aleron Shared Resources, Broadleaf Results, Lume Strategies, TalentRise, Viaduct, and Aleron’s strategic partner, SDI) are Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employers.
