NAPA opportunity……A NAPA Auto Parts store where you least expect it!
We are looking for a purchasing assistant who can either learn or already knows entry level computer software, hardware, and networking.
Purchasing Responsibilities:

• Price updates & maintaining pricing models

• Price change analysis & verification of pricing

• Track & maintain proper levels of stocked inventory

• Calculating Reorder Points & maintaining ROP model

• Updating product lines

• Maintaining part attributes on file

• Interacting with suppliers & maintaining good relations

• Providing product ETAs to the sales department

• Scheduling vendor returns

• Maintains & updates purchasing data & shipment information

• Monitoring vendor delivery times to ensure timely transit times

• Overseeing order fill rates & managing order status

• Resolving disputes & claims with vendors/suppliers

• Providing communication & transparency among inter-departmental teams

• Assisting the purchasing manager as directed
I.T.

Responsibilities:

• Set up Windows users, printers, and other devices

• Upgrade and trouble-shoot PCs, thin-clients, and servers

• Set up E-Commerce users and settings

• Work with phone and data providers to set up users and troubleshoot issues
Education:

• Associates degree or equivalent education and /or purchasing experience

• Experience in the Automotive Industry is a plus, but not required

• Knowledge of ERP purchasing systems
Skills:

• Must be able to works in a schedule-driven environment.

Timing is a critical function.

• Excellent analytical & communication skills

• Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook/Excel/Word)

• Excellent organization skills

• Attention to detail

• Ability to work in a team environment
Salary:
The purchasing and I.T.

assistant position is a full-time position with an estimated starting hourly wage of $17-$20 depending on skill & experience.
