The Institutional Services Associate will assist the department in providing both internal and external clients accurate information related to the firm and its investment strategies.

The role will focus on supporting business development and client service along with collection of ad hoc   projects.  This position will be based out of the Los Angeles office and will be the primary liaison for tracking Marketing requests on behalf of the Institutional Services Team and coordinating seamless delivery of internal and external requests.

This position will report to the Managing Director of Institutional Services.

What You Will Do:
Prepare strategy and prospect analysis and coordinate relevant data for business development purposes Assist in custom content development including pulling data, generating competitive research in addition to discussing and articulating business development ideas for Team members Use Salesforce CRM for business development purposes including data management, pipeline management, onboarding new clients, as well as for field updates and data verification across departments Collaborate with team members to complete ad hoc projects Perform initial review and qualifying of Requests for Proposal (RFPs), including sourcing documentation for RFP’s as necessary Conduct data analysis on potential new business opportunities, tracking submissions and assembling detailed win/loss analysis to further enhance sales effectiveness
What You Will Need:
One to three years of relevant financial services, fintech, or tech / work experience: highly desired Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university and strong academic background or equivalent work experience.

(Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or Computer Science major: preferred but not necessary) Creative and tech savvy with a desire to innovate Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy and timely follow through Clear, concise written and verbal communication Ability to collaborate with a team and execute responsibilities independently Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on Excel, Word and PowerPoint applications) Working knowledge across a variety of capital markets software applications and analytics tools an asset:  FactSet, Bloomberg, eVestment, Zephyr, Seismic, Salesforce etc.
