ASC also operates the rental & retail stores of Four Mountain Sports as well as D& E and the Award-winning Ski & Snowboard Schools of Aspen Snowmass.Job DescriptionThe Snowcat Operator is responsible for delivery of food, beverage and other equipment/items required for Daily restaurant operation via snowcat.
Remove trash recycle and compost from restaurants.Essential Job FunctionsDrives Snowcat up and down assigned mountain following the correct pathUnloads items from the Snowcat and stores items neatly in correct locations.
Follows the correct procedure for recycling and the disposal of all trashLifts and carries items onto the Snowcat and pack securelyEnsure the security of the Snowcat at all timesEnsures the Snowcat is fully fueled with proper fluid levels at all times, as well as leaving the radio fully charged at the end of the shiftTransports and takes correct care of hazardous goodsInforms facility chef of any product missing from invoicesInforms manager of operational issues with delivery/removal of items or mechanical issues with the snowcatWorks flexible shifts, depending on the needs of the businessOther duties as assignedQualificationsMust be 18 years or older2 years’ experience driving a snowcat or similar equipment requiredCurrent valid Driver’s License with ability to operate a variety of vehicles including stick shift, snowcat, snowmobile requiredAbility to communicate and follow oral or written directions in English is requiredHigh school graduate preferredAbility to ski or ride at an intermediate level is required for employees of ski in/ski out restaurants in winterAdditional InformationSupervision Given and Received:Supervision Given: This position has no supervisory responsibilitiesSupervision Received: Works under direct supervision of the Restaurant Manager.
