Job DescriptionAs a PL (project lead), you operate in the project axis of ASML’s organization.

As such, you are responsible for the organization, structure and planning of optical, mechanical and electrical assemblies as well as functional software development that make up our alignment sensors.

These activities cover the complete development cycle, from architecture definition to final integration and high volume manufacturing.

You pro-actively drive the development work of the multi-disciplinary team and participate in reviewing concepts and designs on all above-mentioned criteria.The PL reports to the Group Leader as well as other Project Leaders.

He or she maintains regular alignment with all the stakeholders for the given projects.

The team typically consists of 10+ engineers to develop optical sensor modules used within ASML’s photolithography tools.

The PL can have additional extended teams that consist of co-developers external to ASML that will deliver to your project as well as internal sourcing and logistics.Creating a work breakdown structure and translating this into a transparent plan utilizing Microsoft Project EP.Maintaining deliverables’ plan according to the triple constraints of timing, resources and scope.Regular progress reporting and presentations to stakeholders.Coordinate the deliverables from projects, driving performance, availability, cost and timing.Ensure cross discipline dependencies are identified, planned and executed.Manage resources in a team and take operational responsibility within projects.Identify bottlenecks and/or improvement opportunities within the team/project.Manage and steer co-developers, aligning them with your work breakdown and plan.Assess technical risk and create mitigation plans.Ensures project deliverables are designed for High Volume Manufacturing (HVM).Conduct periodic presentations in front of Project Cluster Manager, Product Development Manager, Development & Engineering Department Manager and Senior Management.

EducationBS degree inMechanical Engineering, Applied Physics, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Optics with 5+ years of relevant Project Management experience.MSc Degree preferred.
